Events are something instantaneous & important to the system
Events might be related to each other then they are causal related (synchronous)
Events might be no related or not depedent on sequence, so these can be concurrent or asyncronous
Events may be generalized into types
Events might have parameters
There may be conditions attached to events.
Example: Signal passage can only be authorized if the next section of rail has no trains
Objects send events to each other as messages
External environment may generate events that are trapped by I/O objects
I/O objects may send events to the external system
