Method to identify potential attributes

  • Noun is an attribute if it has no behavior & has one or fewer attributes
  • If it needs another noun to clarify its meaning, its not an object
  • Example: name needs phone user's name for clarification, name is not an object
  • Look for association between classes
  • Identify ownership of the attribute(s) : Link attributes
